best soap site lately
whoo hooo !!! 6 pages and going strong.
Since the title of this thread has my name in it.. First off I will not argue any points here with one of your younger members. I have already seen the crap spewing from his pie hole. It would be like talking to my ex-wife. I do not try to be all things to all people. Dont try to be and dont want to be. After having anywhere from 60-80 cars and trucks from all over the Southwest come here and tune with me every month I really do not have the time to agrue senseless BS with any single troll on the web most of the time..... Especially fiction Fortunately folks can see right through the crap and we have some good laughs. But unfortunately for sites like this that allow this kind of slanderous BS most of my customers want nothing to do with them. It is not my loss at all. For the record: I gaurantee all my tunes. NO CARS EVER LEAVE IN AN UNSAFE CONDITION. If there are issues with your vehicle that should or need to be remedied then you are advised of that. If you need to get a hold of me for any reason and can not do so via a phone then you should use the CUSTOMER SUPPORT FORUM on my site. http://socaldiablo.com/forums/ It was designed just for that purpose. If you have the time to post in the soap opera diaries then you should have the time to try and help yourself. Unless it is just more convenient to stir up drama in what must be a mundane life. I give 110% all the time and to insinuate I am anything less than an honest individual is nonsense. Here is some food for thought. If your "car" is your daily driver and you do not have the means....or $$$$....or job....to bear or accept responsibilty for your own actions DO NOT MOD THE MOFO or get another daily driver. For those of you who posted in a positive light...my hat is off to you! Have a nice Easter everyone. Shawn |

What does this have to do with any of the problems I commented on. You say it's all false. Please tell your story of the whole situation.

He's vacationing in paradise. But, he will be BACK. I am supposed to keep the peace and I thought we had this thread all settled down, but, it has been stirred up again. Personally, I don't think that was a good move by a businessman who is supposedly a professional since there will always be some criticism of anyone who offers services and some will judge people on how they conduct themselves as a businessman in addition to the quality of the services they provide. But, I am an older person and no doubt I am expecting too much from the younger generation.

In my industry, any business that conducted such a base and low brow argument with an ex-customer in public would be toast--such lack of professionalism would never be tolerated. A professional, unemotional rebuttal of the points raised by the disgruntled customer would be expected. A professional doesn't allow themselves to be baited or provoked—that’s why they’re called “Professional” and not “Amateur.”
In my 20+ years owning four successful companies, I learned some simple rules of customer relations: 1) One angry customer will tell 100 other people about you. You’re lucky if a satisfied customer tells 5 people about you. 2) It’s worth it to lose the argument with the customer—always. That doesn’t mean you give the store away, just don’t argue—give them their money back or whatever and call it a day. 3) When you reach the point that you’re not able to reach a satisfactory arrangement with a customer, you have to say, “That’s the best I can offer, it’s not enough, I’m sorry but we’re finished here.” Then you understand that the customer is going to complain about you to everyone they can—they may even sue you. Deal with it, it’s part of business. 4) NEVER dis a current customer, an ex-customer, or a competitor. It shows insecurity and lack of confidence in yourself and your business. That being said, I’m locking this thread. The vendor choose (for reasons that escape me) to come back to an old thread and stir it back up. Fine, they had their say, and the customer had their re-rebuttal. As to the post of 03-27-2005 04:13 PM, “sites like this that allow this kind of slanderous BS”, that’s right, we have no vendor sponsorships or other loyalties to commercial relationships—so our members are free to give their point of view on those with whom they conduct business. It is neither slander nor libel, that requires malice of intent, and that legal standard has clearly not been met by the opinion posted here. What the unsatisfied customer posted here falls under First Amendment freedom of speech, the only slander sir, was yours. The Admin
